Designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, this extraordinary concert hall is famous for its colourful mosaics, sculptures, stained glass and the way natural light enters the building.

Before going inside, take a moment to look carefully at the façade.
Every corner is full of artistic details, decorative columns and references to music and Catalan culture.

Inside, the main concert hall is the true highlight. Its spectacular stained-glass skylight fills the room with colour and creates one of the most unique interiors in the city.

And before you leave, do not miss Carmela, the large cast-iron head by Barcelona artist Jaume Plensa.
You will find it outside, near the corner of Sant Pere Més Alt. Walk around it, because its shape changes depending on the angle.
